How can I either (1) mask/hide IP, and/or (2) route ALL my traffic via a proxy server program? - easy hide ip license key

I understand that this problem very frequently, that is no easy answer, and you can not completely hide the IP. But still I wonder what you recommend, or wear what you do. Free Software / Open Source route all my internet traffic through a proxy would be great. TOR-I do, but its incredibly slow, even though I have a T3 connection. As for masking p2p I am also with PeerGuardian. Thank you in advance for your help.
